Who is the JTFN LearningLab for?

The JTFN LearningLab is specially-designed with sessions for leaders of Jewish teen philanthropy programs, as well as for Jewish educators, professionals and lay leaders from the wider field of Jewish teen programming and engagement. 

I don't have a teen philanthropy program. Can I still attend?

Absolutely! The JTFN LearningLab is for educators, lay leaders and Jewish organizational professionals of all kinds who are interesting in building the next generation of changemakers.

Is the JTFN LearningLab part of the JFN Conference?

The JTFN LearningLab is NOT part of the JFN Conference, but both will take place in the same hotel. For more information about the JFN Conference, visit www.jfunders.org/conference 

Is there parking at the location of the Learninglab?

Yes! And it is free!

How do I book the hotel?

We have a limited number of special rate rooms available at the Double Tree. Click here to go to our hotel booking page. If you are staying at the Double Tree (which is a 5-10 minute drive from the LearningLab location), we will be providing transport between locations at the start and at the end of the day.

When will the workshops for the JTFN LearningLab be available?

Workshops and speakers will be announced here – check back often for updates! Sign-ups for Workshops and Labs will be available the first week of March.

Will the food and catering be kosher?

Kosher dietary laws will be observed. Questions? Contact us.

Who do I contact about special requests?

Anything from accessibility to new mothers needing space to pump, please contact us with your special requests.

What is the difference between a Breakout and a Lab?

Breakouts: Choose your experience with our range of interactive workshops. Hear from experts from the wider teen engagement, adolescent development, and nonprofit community, as well as experienced professionals from the Jewish teen philanthropy field.

Labs: Discover new methodologies, models of education and best practices. The conference will turn into an experimentation lab where participants can be a “student” in a simulated lessons. We will then “look behind the curtain” as methodologies are broken down and explained.

Can my organization become a Sponsor of the Florida LearningLab?

Yes! We have different levels of sponsorship available. Please contact JTFN Director, Wayne Green, and we would be happy to discuss.

What is the dress code for the LearningLab?

The dress code for the LearningLab is business casual.

What if our organization needs financial assistance to attend the Learning Lab?

Please contact us directly for any questions about financial assistance.
